“Oh see, I knew you were cheating on me,” she teased, glancing over to where the blonde in question was. “She’s pretty, why’d you ghost? No fun? Too clingy? Should I be worried she’ll make a scene and ruin our date night?”

“Too clingy and psycho,” he replied, eyeballing the girl in question before looking back at Kate. “If she does, I need you to help me get out of here.”

“Now where is the fun in that ? You would just troll me and lift and unlift your shirt at unhuman speed and I would see nothing. Besides the more you tense your muscles while I poke them, the more your circulation works, the more your heart works, the more delicious you are…” she smiled with her fangs. Did she mean it ? Maaaaaybe ?

“For you? Never,” Pietro said with a wink and a playful grin. He knew he should probably be intimidated by the vampirish remark but he wasn’t. Not in the slightest. “I could get my blood pumping in more ways than one.”

“Kate! Kate! I need your help,” Pietro announced as he appeared in the bar rather quickly. “I need you to pretend to be my girlfriend, otherwise you see that blonde in the corner? Yeah, I may have ghosted her after a night....”

        Rogue let out a soft laugh and shifted to sit on her desk, knowing full well Pietro would be finished long before she could even attempt to help out. “Well thank ya, sugar. I owe ya one.”

        “That sounded personal.” Lorna hummed a little as she watched Pietro, raising an eyebrow. “What’d the door do to you?”

Pietro kicked the door once more before looking over at Lorna. “Stupid thing was supposed to be open so I didn’t run into it.”

Mission accomplished, she got to the abs. She put her hands on them. “Such nice muscles indeed…still you should buy me a burger  Pietro dear ! “

Pietro realized rather quickly what she had been up to and he chuckled as he shook his head. “You know, if you wanted to see me shirtless, all you had to do was ask,” he offered with a playful grin.

        “Oh no, I said nothin’ about not wantin’ your help here,” she mused, shaking her head. “I’ve got at least another load of this shit at home to get down here later, so if you’re willin’ to lend a hand I’ll owe you a favor - a minor one, though.”

Pietro hummed in pretend thought. “Deal,” he smiled before racing speeding around her office and cleaning up the boxes for her. “There you go, beautiful.”

Jubes laughed and put an arm around his shoulder to one arm hug him. “I was talking about you asshole. “ She poked his ribs.  “you really don’t eat enough , you’re thiner than thin !”

Pietro smiled and laughed as he wrapped his own arm around her as well. “What are you talking about?” he asked, pulling up his shirt to show his abs. “This is all muscle.”

        “We need to get you some readin’ glasses?” Rogue grins a bit even as she shakes her head, raising an eyebrow at the man. “Sure is, sugar. Ain’t no amount of poutin’ you could do to convince me to pick up after you if you finally found yourself in a mess you couldn’t outrun.”

“I’m being honest,” he replied as he glanced around at the place, “I’ve been keeping myself out of trouble and I was in the neighborhood so I thought I would stop by. But if you don’t want my help to clean this place up in no time at all I can just go.”

        “A sign on the door sayin’ ‘closed’ is usually there for a reason, y’know. Office hours start next Monday, ya can call ‘nd leave a message to get an appointment set up.” It’s been a full two days since she’d had any sleep, and the lack of rest has definitely hindered her ability to hide her accent. Still, if she wanted to be ready when Monday rolled around, she needed to get everything sorted. “Or if you’re really keen on havin’ a chat, do me a favor and grab a box. Need to get the empty ones out of the way.”

“Does it?” Pietro asked, looking at the sign although he knew full well that it said closed and he just chose to ignore it. “Well, I guess it’s a good thing I’m not here to talk about law stuff. I just wanted to stop by and see an old friend.”

sneaking around with pink hair and large fairy wings was not exactly an easy task. however so far she had managed to stay out of sight of the group she had been following who just moved down the alleyway. ducking behind a series of large crates, the young fairy poked her head out ever so slightly to catch a glimpse of what was happening down the alleyway. she had followed a group of men after overhearing their conversations and none of it sounded good.

taking out a small notebook from her bag, she began scribbling down small notes of what she overheard and what they were doing. her mind distracted for nearly a moment seemed to be enough time for someone to join alongside of her. startled she jumped back slightly. “what are you doing?” her voice a harsh whisper. “i am trying to be sneaky here!! you nearly gave me a heart attack.”

“Sneaky?” Pietro asked, eyeing her pink hair and fairy wings, “You know it’s hard to be sneaky when your hair is that pink.” Pietro had just been passing by when he noticed the little fairy spying on people. “What are you doing anyway?”

“here and there?” wanda frowned giving her brother’s shoulder a slight shove. “you could have reached out or anything! i have been worried sick that something happened to you.” her rant could have kept going and going but she paused herself from going further. instead she reached out and pulled her brother into a hug. no matter how angry she was with him she had truly missed him. her eyes light up for a moment seeing the box of candies he had gotten her. “how? how did you get these? you know now i have another ten unanswered questions for you i’m adding to the list.” for a moment a smile came onto her face.

Despite the fact that she was younger and smaller than him, she still knew how to land a good hit, even if she was only shoving his shoulder. “Do you know how hard it is to try and make calls while moving as fast as I do?” he teased, although that wasn’t the real reason. Honestly he didn’t need Wanda knowing what that reason really was either. Instead he just hugged her. “I made a pit stop in Sokovia during my travels,” he said so matter of factly. “And I actually bought them with money this time.”
