☢ Lorna’s biological mother had an affair with Erik Lehnsherr, a secret she managed to keep from her husband until Lorna was almost three years old. ☢ The family was on a small private plane when her (step)dad found out, and her parents’ arguing caused the toddler a great deal of stress - enough that, while yelling for them to stop fighting, her mutant abilities were triggered (which also turned her hair it’s iconic green color). ☢ Lorna caused the plane to crash, leaving her as the sole survivor amongst the wreckage. ☢ Lorna was found and had her memory altered, both to forget the events of the night and to inhibit her abilities until she was older. ☢ She was legally adopted by her (step)dad’s sister and her husband, and was given their last name. ☢ When her mutant abilities triggered (for the second time) Lorna was found and taken in by the X-Men, and attended Xavier’s School for Gifted Youngsters. ☢ Lorna had been working at the school, and had planned to continue, before the SHPA Act was passed. ☢ She refused to sign the act, and instead intended to simply fly under the radar in hopes it’d eventually be repealed. ☢ At the suggestion of an old friend Lorna went to meet to Magneto. After some time of working with him to learn more of her abilities, she was eventually tempted into joining the Brotherhood. In some aspects she’s still reluctant, but the longer she’s with them the more she agrees. ☢ She is still entirely unaware of who her father is. Though after getting a DNA test done on a stupid dare, one that should have just pointed her to where her family came from, Lorna did discover that her mother must have had an affair.

☢ Lorna has inherited her father’s abilities, though to what extent has yet to be seen. She is much younger and far less experienced, but has proven to be quite talented. ☢ Her personal polarity is the exact opposite of her father’s.
