Gender Appropriation

So, I have a lot of questions but let me start with a few simple ones. And what makes a skirt or make up female? When John Hamm wears make up is he appropriating gender? When Marc Jacobs wears a skirt is he appropriating gender?

So you're saying it's not appropriation as long as they were ever female? Because I still fell like if buck angel or chaz bono went prancing around onstage parodying women that it would still be incredibly offensive.

also I disagree with your stance on the trans man earlier, if they identify as a man then it would still be appropriation for them to cross dress as women.

Some men just feel more comfortable in female* clothing, just as some women feel more comfortable in male* clothing. I'm biologically female and mostly female presenting, but feel much more comfortable in male* clothes and a binder than I do in female* clothing, how is it different the other way round?

Theres no such thing as "gender appropriation", gender is just a social construct. People can switch genders whenever they fucking please. if someone things "yeah, i want to look feminine today", they fucking can, because femininity is also just a social construct. I'm trans-f myself and I have always been irked by the thought of cis men being able to take on femininity. When they do it's literally always to emphasize stereotypes and make a joke out of it. And then they go and try to 'reclaim' slurs against women when they're not actually women. Like how Ru-Paul tries to say the t-slur even though it is *not* a term used against him. It's the same thing with b- and sl-, men seem to think that dressing up as women gives them the right to those terms.
