IMAGINE: Being Niall’s assistant and him setting you and Harry up on a blind date

Being Niall’s assistant had its perks. It meant sometimes you got to travel to amazing places with him. Although usually you stay at home and take care of his bills and house, he occasionally takes you around the world with him.
The downside: he makes fun on you on Instagram all the time. But you don’t mind because you make fun of him too.
It also means you’ve met the One Direction boys. They’re all so nice and you always have a great time with them, even though you don’t see them much. You and Niall are super close and he talks about you a lot in interviews and to the boys.
He teases you about Harry, saying Harry asks about you all the time and laughs at you when you blush. 90% of his jokes are about you and Harry dating, which annoys you because you do have a bit of a crush on him.
One day, Niall gets sick of Harry talking about you and you talking about Harry so he decides to up you up on a blind date.
“Come on, Y/N, it’ll be fun. You’ll really like him.” Niall tries to convince you.
“I dunno, Ni. This is probably just one of your pranks.” You argue.
He shakes his head. “It’s not, I swear. Please?” He begs.
Sighing, you agree to go on this blind date. Of course, you have no idea who Niall’s set you up with, and you’re nervous to find out.
You waited in the restaraunt where Niall told you to. You dressed nice, did your hair and had done your makeup. Nervously, you kept looking around you, desperately trying to figure out who Niall had set you up with.
A few minutes later, Harry walks in. Suddenly, you’re much more nervous than before. He sees you and looks just as shocked as you are. He makes his way over to your table.
“Niall?” He asks, sitting down opposite you.
“No, I’m Y/N, but I see why you’re confused.” You joke back.
He laughs. “Not gonna lie, wasn’t expecting you.”
“None taken.” He laughs again.
The waiter comes and takes your order. The two of you talk as you wait for your food, slowly becoming more comfortable around each other as the initial awkwardness wears off.
“So,” he began. “I dont know about you but I’m really enjoying myself.”
Blushing, you reply: “Me too. Hate to admit it though.”
“Niall will never let us forget.” He laughs.
Hours pass, you’ve both eaten your food and decide to pay and go for a walk. It’s dark out now, despite the sun being up when you arrived.
“Do you wanna come back to my place?” Harry asks as the two of you stroll down the lamp-lighted street.
“Yeah, sure.” You respond, not wanting to seem too keen, even though you most definitely are.
You couldn’t wait to see where this goes. You have to admit, Niall can be annoying at times, but when it comes to you and Harry, he’s always right.
