Pt 1 - Pts Masterlist

David Wymacks apartment wasn't what Aiden expected. It would be considered big if not for how cluttered it was.

"Next time I have to sit out, I'm taking one of you with me." Nicky says. "I'd rather not sit through coaches music alone ever again."

"And I'd rather have a passenger who doesn't talk over Johnny Cash, and yet here you are." Wymack passes by the group further into his apartment.

The others make themselves comfortable as Aiden stands to the side of the door, unsure of what to do.

Of course he's stayed with strangers on his journey, but they'd always expected something in return.

And then of course there's Neil.

Aiden knew that staying meant he'd have to be around him, but every move he makes sends a jolt of anxiety down Aiden's spine.

He hasn't seen his brother in eight years. It wasn't like they'd seen much of each other before Aiden's abandonment, but they had their letters.

Secret notes they'd slip to each other while no one was watching. The only semblance of happening Aiden found in his childhood. While Aiden and Nathaniel were the same age, Adrien and Neil were not. Neil had thought to change his age while on the run.

Smart. 

Or was it their mother who had told him to change it? 

Aiden thought about his mother. He hadn’t been able to see her much when he was young, he barely remembers her face, but where was she now? Was this her idea? Hiding in plain sight? 

“You’ll have to sleep on the couch until we can get a bed in the dorms for you.” Wymack says, snapping Aiden from his thoughts. 

“That’s fine.” Aiden gives a small, hopefully friendly, smile. He still hurts all over. He couldn’t wait to lay down. 

There’s rustling down the hall. Nicky and Aiden were missing from the group.

“God damnit. You better not be trying to steal anymore of my alcohol again! Don’t think I didn’t notice last time when Neil showed up!” Wymack yells, but he glares at Kevin and Andrew. 

“I’m offended Coach. We would never.” Nicky feigns offense. “We were just looking for blankets for the new guy!” 

“You mean the blankets that have been sitting on the couch for the past few months?” Wymack points to the pile of fabrics laying on the back of the couch.

“That’s why we couldn’t find them.” Nicky nudged his cousin with a smile.

It was clear Wymack wasn’t believing a word Nicky says. 

“That’s enough. Out! I’ve had enough of all of you.” Wymack pinches the bridge of his nose before leaving down the hall.

Everyone but Andrew files out with varied goodbyes. 

Once the door closes Aiden sits, his eyes never leaving Andrews. “Are you going to explain this?” He points to his mouth. 

“Maybe.” Andrew shrugs. “Are you going to explain that?” Andrew gestures to all of Aiden. 

“Depends.” Aiden sighs.  “Are we continuing our game?”

“That’s up to you.” 

“Who’s turn was it?” but Aiden knew the answer.

“Yours.” 

With that Andrew takes out a smoke and sticks it in grinning mouth. He holds up a two finger solute before leaving. 

This leads to some events not lining up with the story. So here are some changes:

● Aiden and Neil are now twins. (Helps line up some timeline stuff lol) Aiden being the younger one.

● Nathan Wesninski bailed Aiden out of Jouvie after finding out he tried running away (he got severely punished for trying to run)

● Aiden stayed with his father until age 15 before running again.

Took a break from writing my Wesninski Brothers Au cuz I wanted to draw this scene from The Kings Men chapter 8. 

I’m not used to drawing backgrounds (As its probably clear due to the fact that it looks nothing like a washroom lol), but I’m using this as an excuse to practice. 

Pt 1 - Pts Masterlist

Aiden tried and failed to argue against Andrew's suggestion to join his ragtag team of foxes. Any excuse was met with solutions, no matter how hard Aiden tried. Wymack offered to let Aiden, or "Adrien" stay at his apartment until a bed was available at Fox Towers.

Aiden had met Andrew's brother and cousin a little after he had attacked Neil. They had heard the noise and came running in. Aiden didn't think much of Andrew's doppelganger, but his cousin looked nothing like them.

Nicky introduced both him and his cousin, Aaron, with a weary but welcoming smile. Aaron hadn't said anything, seemingly disinterested in who Andrew called "Friend". Though it didn't stop him from sending quizzical looks towards his brother.

Aiden was less happy about the last member of Andrews little group. While he never interacted with Kevin Day when he was younger, Aiden knew that Kevin knows of him and his affiliations with the man know as The Butcher.

After Nathaniel and their mother abandoned him, he essentially replaced Nathaniel at their father's side. He took over all the combat lessons, learned all about The Family Business, everything. Alden's hands weren't clean. He had endured all the abuse, all the screams, both his and others.

He had become well versed in the many ways a person can be taken apart, the many ways to carve a human to bits while keeping them alive.

If Kevin remembers him there would be no way Alden would be able to stay. If Kevin let Riko know of Aiden's existence anywhere other than The Butcher's side, it would be over. That's why Andrew's request to join the Foxes is a bad idea and why Alden wouldn't stay long enough for that to happen.

After Abby deemed Alden fit for travel the 8 of them filed into the two cars parked outside. Andrew all but dragged Aiden to his car.

"Uh, Andrew? I don't know if you realized, but we're at max compacity." Nicky says.

"No, we're not, there's another car right there." Andrew points expectingly at the car Wymack and Abby stand beside. "Looks like you'll just have to take one for the team."

Aiden would never get used to Andrew's wide, manic smile,

With a huff Nicky reluctantly gets in Wymac's car.

Andrew didn’t even flinch when Aiden went after Neil. In fact he let out a slight amused laugh. He had put two and two together when he’d first seen Neil. Andrew knows Aiden hates his brother by the way he used to talk about his mother and him when they were cell mates in juvie. 

Andrew knew instantly when he’d seen how similar they looked that Aiden and Neil were brothers. It’s how he often knew that Neil was lying.

He knew better than to underestimate his old friend, so while Aiden slept he took anything Aiden could have used to harm Neil with. But at this particular moment, Aiden was just too weak to do much harm with his fists.

He watches as Wymack pulls Aiden off Neil as carefully as he can without hurting Aiden even more than he already was. Andrew hears small curses come from the Coach before he finally gets Aiden off. 

“What the hell was that?!” Wymack yells more than asks as Abby checks Aiden’s wounds. 

I kinda dropped off of existence for a while, but now I'm back and ready to continue where I left off!

I'm in the middle of rereading/listening to the audiobooks of AFTG. Currently on The Raven King, so its a perfect time to continue writing my Wesninski Brothers AU!

pt. 1 -  Parts masterlist 

Aiden didn’t know when he passed out. What he did know was that now he was on a couch in a strange house. He heard faint voices coming from a different room.

His instincts kicked in. He slowly reached for the shethed knife that he hid in his shoe, trying not to alert those in the other room. He ultimately failed when he noticed that there was someone sitting in a chair across from the couch watching him.

Aiden could only see a silhouette, but judging from it, the person was short. The silhouette slowly got up and walked away, probably to tell the others that he was awake.

Aiden sat up slightly and looked for the exits of the room he was in. Before he could move the person who had been watching him came back but no one followed. All they did was put a jello cup on the table.

Ignoring how much his body protested, Aiden sat up fully and reached for the food. He kept his eyes on the person who had brought him his food. Now that they was closer he could see their features.

Aiden felt relived when he recognized him. This was the one person in the world that he trusted more than himself.

“Andrew.”

Andrew didn’t say anything, but kept watching Aiden. So Aiden just continued to eat his jello. He was happy that Andrew still remembered his favourite flavour, lime.

The more Aiden stared at Andrew, the more he realized that something was off. Andrew was smileing. Andrew never smiles.

“So, the mystery boy is awake.”Aiden quickly looks over to a tall man who had just walked in. He was obviously older than both Andrew and Aiden which made Aiden more than a little uneasy. 

“Mystery boy? He’s no mystery, I told you he’s an old friend of mine.” Andrew says cheerfully. Aiden knew for sure now that something was wrong with Andrew. Aiden remembered that Andrew had a twin brother, Andrew had told him one night during one of their “Truth games” when they were in juvie together. 

Aiden thought that this could be that twin that he’d talked about, but that was dismissed when he remembered that Andrew had said they were old friend, as well as when the tall man called to someone in the other room.

“Abby come here! Andrews... friend is awake.” There was a weird pause before he had said friend but Aiden didn’t think much of it. From what he knows about Andrew, he would be weary of anyone Andrew called a friend as well. 

After a minute a lady came walking in with medical equipment. She sat down beside Aiden on the couch and asked with a smirk “I’m Abby. That’s David Wymack. So, do you have a name?” 

Before Aiden could answer another figure walked into the room. He was another person Aiden never thought he would see again, but this time his reason was a lot different than with Andrew. 

Even with his hair dyed brown and the brown contacts, Aiden could still instantly recognize his brother Nathaniel. 

“His name is Adrien.” Andrew says. Of coarse Andrew did know Aidens real name, but knew that Aiden didn’t like others to know it because of his father. 

Andrew looked curiously between Aiden and Nathaniel, then with a smile says “Adrien meet Neil, Neil, Adrien. Now we all know each other.” 

Nathaniel’s fake name made Aiden mad. It was the name Aiden would call him when they were younger. They weren’t allowed to interact, but that didn’t stop them from sneaking notes to each other. That was until Neil left with their mother, leaving Aiden behind with their father. 

Aiden looked for any hint of recognition in Neil’s face, but he saw nothing. It made Aiden relieved and mad at the same time. Relieved that he wouldn’t have to leave as soon as he thought, but mad that his brother didn’t care enough to remember him. Aiden knew he was wearing a disguise, but so was Neil.

Aiden rolls over onto his side. Each movement sending jolts of pain coursing through his body. His sight is blurry and darkness threatens to take over.

His fathers people had found him on the outskirts of South Carolina. They tried to kill him again. Aiden had lost count the number of times that he’s almost died, but this time it was worse. Aiden knew that if he wanted to survive, he’d have to get help.

He growns as he struggles to his feet. He only manages a step before falling back into the ditch he was left for dead in. His burner phone falling from his pocket.

He knew he shouldn’t but he grabbed the phone and dials the only number he swore never to call.

It took until the third ring for the person to pick up. Loud music played in the background. There was no ‘hello’ from the guy on the other side, but Aiden didn’t expect one to begin with.

Aiden looked around and spotted a street sign. He choked out what he could read before they hung up. Aiden didn’t know it was good or bad that they hung up but through his phone farther away from him in anger anyways, wincing at the pain it sent through his arm.

He tried to get up again, making it two steps this time, but ultimately failing to stay up after that.

“Damn it.” Aiden wanted to yell but his throat hurt too much. He closed his eyes in defeat. He didn’t want to die here, but he doesn’t know what else to do.

He didn’t know if the person he called even remembers him. He hasn’t seen him since juvie, which was years ago.

Aiden opened his eyes when he heard the sound of wheels speeding down the road. He tries to stand up to try and get the driver to see him, but fails again. The driver though pulls over any ways, in a not so safe way.

Aiden hears a door slam shut and footsteps crossing the road to him. It was followed by three more doors and voices.

“Why are we out here?” One of the voices says in annoyed tone.

Someone drops down into the ditch, but Aidens eyes can’t focus. The voices get louder as the others get closer.

The voices go quiet as soon as they get to the other road and were replaced with gasps and a quiet “oh my god.”

The first person that came into the ditch helped Aiden sit up before looping his arm under his and pulling him to a standing position. Before Aiden could fall, scrambled footsteps were heard as one of the taller guys in the group took to Aidens other side.

There was only silence as they helped Aiden into the car. When they all got in the only voices Aiden could hear above the buzzing in his ears were those of the guy to the left of him to the driver of the car.

“Who is this guy?” Was the first question, to which the driver answered with silence.

Aiden could hear the soft tones of a phone dialing. Aiden tries to focus his sight, only succeeding a little bit. The guy to the left was tall and dark skinned, to his right was a small blond guy. Aiden couldn’t see any difference with the driver and the guy to his right. The passenger being tall with dark hair.

When whoever the driver called picked up all he said was “Bring Abby.” Before hanging up.

Aiden couldn’t focus anymore. Darkness began to overtake his vision. Before everything goes dark he says one think.

“Andrew.”

Pt. 1 Pt.2 (I hope I did the linking properly)

• Aiden has a smart mouth like Neil, but knows when to shut up (most times)

• Aiden goes by Adrien Miles but Andrew knows his real name

• Aiden and Neil are full brothers

•Neil doesn’t recognize Aiden right away because of the many years that they haven’t seen each other, and the added disguise that Aiden has (hair dye, contact lenses, etc)

•The reason Aiden was left behind was because Mary couldn’t get to him without getting them all caught and probably killed

• The way to Aidens heart is Lime Jello

• He’s not a big fan of exy but he finds it better than being on the run

• Aiden used to cut, so one of the first things Andrew does is forcefully pull Aidens sleeves up to check for anything recent

• Aiden occasionally does the same to Andrew and his armbands, just less forcefully

• Aiden carries around a knife in his right shoe, he modified his shoe to still be comfortable while hiding the knife, but also so he can get it with ease
