The Unjustifiably Long 1-Year Anniversary Post
Only 90′s kiddos will remember the Velour/ia blog I started back in February 2016. I started from the bottom in Naruto RP and was fortunate enough to join FE RP last spring. This blog has undergone siegnificant changes over time and I couldn’t be more pleased with it. Some of you may recall my previous urls such as siegnificant ™ or even noblcst if you’ve been stuck in FE14 hell for a while.
I’m grateful for the ways in which maintaining his blog has pushed me to improve my writing. I created this account very inexperienced and unfamiliar with the RP community in general. And this is why I so appreciate those that stayed with me as Siegbert and I both grew. I never expected any of the attention I’ve gotten over here. No experience is free of setbacks, but I can wholeheartedly attest to the positive reception and unwavering support that I have received. My activity has fluctuated in the past few months. But your patience is much appreciated.
I wish I could express even a fraction of the gratitude and love I feel towards the many faces of this community. I hope to get to know even more of you during my stay on this blog. And I wish you all the best. Rping may be just a hobby, but there’s something admirable about exactly how much effort goes into a portrayal. Your time and effort are valuable. It’s hard not to become invested into anything you’ve devoted yourself into. Your finely tuned portrayals of beloved (and some not so beloved) fictional characters do not go unnoticed. Rping isn’t just a void. You’ve touched the people behind the screen by simply interacting with them through praises and constructive criticisms alike. I want all of you to know that you matter.
