Illuminated in the Shadows A study that took me longer than I planned haha. Anyways HAPPY SPOOPY SEASON!

Been awhile since I drew anything, so just a simple study of a girl with a large jacket.

Feyd-Rautha Harkonnen from Dune 2 Quick-ish painting study, which ended up being harder than I thought. Need more practice for sure xD

Going back to doing character studies in the meantime. I'll probably flip between movie stills and random characters for now.

It was really interesting painting this, definitely learned a lot on how to render blood in multiple different ways. xD

Another study, this time of a horror film. Didn't feel like doing background work today, so decided to paint a spoopy portrait. This film has such cool creature designs.

I love the cinematography of this film, and yet I still haven't actually watched it. xD But definitely a good movie for screenshot studies.

starting on film grab studies to better my composition and speed with thumbnails. Also GotG is my fav film.

More character and clothing studies. Decided to add a background to keep it more interesting and for more practice as well.

Just more studies for practice, mostly focusing on clothing folds and blocking out facial features.

Recently found the designer Lemaire and the aesthetic they have going on is just so on point for me. Plus I needed to do more clothing studies this weekend, perfect reference to use.
