who would need such a exacting, EARLY schedule other than the miserable, creature of habit that is barou.
he does this because he needs to go to the laundromat a few blocks down.
and he thinks the one in his very expensive apartment is rusting…and no it isn’t.
“shoei…what’s the point of coming all the down here, if you’re doing that?”
“what do you mean?” he huffed turning to your huddled form in his very oversized sweater on your figure, “this is necessary.”
“you’re spraying lysol inside of the machine, barou.”
you blinked at the bulky man, who just fished out the matching clorox wipes he had about to clean out the inside that the spray didn’t reach.
“well, i don’t know whose been using this before us.”
“don’t ask me dumb stuff. this is important for our health.”
“you know what, you—” you pursed your lips taking a breath watching as he finally started shoveling the clothes into the varying machine sizes.
just like everything else he was very particular.
you weren’t even sure why he always woke you up to come with him. you were virtually useless or well he made you useless.
he had a perfect measurement for soap, he already had the clothes sectioned in darks, whites and colors. and he used exactly four dryer sheets for every machine, and you’d sit there, sleep threatening to creep back up on you as your head followed his unconsciously moving left and right.
it was miserable. especially since he insisted, very heavily to come at 1:30 EVERY WEDNESDAY.
because on fridays, when you went running with him, he felt bad about waking you up, not that he would admit it though.
on the average day, most people choose to go to laundry anytime between 8-11 pm. that’s prime time hours that he avoids.
and early in the morning 4-6 am, is for people that think they are beating the early morning rush especially on weekends, prime time TWO that he’s ready to avoid.
and plus he has to get up and early for his usual 6:30 am practice, and he gets there early to do his warmups and stretch.
he’s a busy man and he’s forcing you to be a busy woman.
you don’t know how or why, he chose to do this.
his damn apartment even had its own laundry service but he couldn’t be bothered. so he bothered you.
and not that you minded…entirely but you would like to sleep on your day off than be at a small laundromat watching your boyfriend eye down his shirt to get the perfect square before putting it back in the now washed laundry bag.

“i am done, coffee can wait it’s almost 5:00 the convenience store has that unlimited sale on plastics utensils and dish apparel.”
