I got mansplained on how to ride a gym cycle.

And this gentleman had the audacity to keep on going even when I told him that I know how to ride a gym cycle & a cross trainer and that my brother owns a gym.

Then he so smoothly said, “Ah!! Tab toh bhaiya sikha he denge”

Which translates to “Ah!! In that case, instead of me your brother can teach / instruct you it’s no big deal ”.

You know, part of the meal I was cooking for him, in the kitchen I cleaned for him, in the home I clean for him. But yeah, sure, he must know more about cooking than I do! Silly woman, doesn’t even know how to boil water when a man keeps the house in order with his magic invisible elves!
