End of the day, rounding the bend at Cayucos.

Angeles Crest - Watch out for fallen rocks.  I was following a "snow" plow, which was clearing some menacingly large rocks off the road.  Apparently the group leader didn't point one out on a corner, and he completely tore, left side to right, his front tire.  If that weren't enough it then blew the rear tire, bent the rim, and nearly bucked him off.  Dude is lucky. I am also lucky I saw them and stopped.  Turns out there was a cop sitting beside them waiting for people to drive by speeding.

My first ride on canyon roads, took it a little easy with the new bike.  That is until I met some local dudes who knew the road, then I just had to keep up with the fast group...  You haven't rode until you've rode canyons on a liter bike. Angeles Crest
