3 years ago I used to skate so much more, I was so flexible and quick. Having a 9-5 desk job really does change how much movement you can get in. Yesterday was a dream. Fun waves on the lake, not even 30 mins from home. A perfect sunset, and only 2 other people out (which is the first time we’ve surfed with other people out since we moved here). Hellllooooo friends. The past few weeks and I’ve started taking steps towards being plastic free. I’m not perfect and this won’t happen right away, I’m also not sponsored nor paid to do this, but I’ve been thinking I was environmentally cautious, looked at how much single use plastic I throw away and realised I wasn’t doing enough. Sure recycling helps, but it’s not the solution, and lots still ends up in the oceans. I’ll be trying to share some ways you can use less single use plastic, and what I’m using. For the last month we switched to these @lushcosmetics Shampoo and conditioner bars. They come with these reusable tins that you take back to the store.
