YEVU is a clothing line that is ethically made in Ghana, West Africa. YEVU is made from 100% locally sourced West African wax print, and is constructed by hand in partnership with seamstresses that operate their businesses at a grass-root level in Ghana. Each piece is unique. The fabrics were hand picked from the markets of Accra, Kumasi, Togo and Cote d’Ivoire. YEVU aims to celebrate the vibrancy and uniqueness of West African print through bringing simple and contemporary designs to a wider market for men and women, connecting the buyer with the marketplace of West Africa. This is achieved while supporting and sustaining local industry and small businesses in Ghana through creating economic and creative opportunities.
