“Well… this place was your suggestion, tell me which one you wanna do more? You know that I am up for it, right? I’ve got my handy camera so you can be my muse if and when I want to break into photography mode.” Chuckling, Taeyong runs nimble fingers through his hair, his aimless response more so due to the fact that anything that could distract him from his wandering mind would be a welcome move. “Yo… don’t wander off with strangers. If you run into a serial killer, I ain’t going to go hunting about for your body, you know.” His lips curve into a sheepish grin, matching the other’s teasing with his own as he tilts his head to one side while a brow quirks questioningly. 

“Really? You wouldn’t try to look for me if I went missing? Noted. Oh hyung, my beloved hyung, gives no shits about me and would leave me to rot in some old stranger’s basement. Amazing. This is the end.” His words are said without any true malice behind them, a smile painting Jaehyun’s lips afterwards even. He knows deep down the older would do the exact opposite of what was said, and likewise, Jaehyun too would do the same. There was a bond between them, unspoken but understood, solidifying that the two of them will always be there for one another no matter the circumstance. But for now, the joke remains in the air as Jaehyun chuckles, a light tease meant to ease the tension of impending schedules they’re bound to face at some point. 

Jaehyun’s nose wrinkles as he nudges his fingers against the other’s temple in a small flick, a sigh falling from his lips after his hand retreats back to his side. It was hot, sticky even, the mixture of it all enticing a feeling of mild annoyance from the younger as he sits there in his lounger. But, he knows he shouldn’t complain too much: the trip was spontaneous after all, agreed upon with slight hesitation, yet something he felt the pair needed greatly for more reasons than one. Weather should have been accounted for, but the stupidity and hastiness of just getting out overtook Jaehyun when he booked the necessary accommodations for the two of them. Deal with it, he tells himself. Weather is just weather, it’s summertime. At least there was shade. Maybe he was just hungry. Or bored.
