This bold red window treatment features the design that I have Named ‘Ndebele Stacks’. It is my pared down homage to the tradition of neck elongation. This is practiced by the Ndebele (Zimbabwe), as well as the Kayan of Burma. I find it to be a beautiful design piece (without the body modification 😂). The worst part of being ill for me is boredom. Let’s just say, I looked at my phone...a lot! 🤣 . Anyway, image (1) was originally posted by my friend Mr. @segunolude. From my understanding, he took this picture at the University of Ibadan in our hom country of Nigeria 🇳🇬 The colors and shapes really excited me. I immediately saved the image and used my @adobecapture app to capture 😂 the colors. . So, upon feeling well enough to work, I made a stamp. I stamped and digitized the image (2) and applied the colors (3). . I can assure you that this is not a final image by any means, just a jumping off point. . The point of all this is that. Inspiration can come from any direction at any time, even when you’re sick as a 🐶 (at Yetunde Rodriguez Design)
