It was then, when she felt a sudden sadness consume her that she couldn’t do this anymore. So she gave up loving you to love herself.

We both know we like each other. We talk to each other and try and act like friends but deep down when we look at each other we feel it. Why do we always try and hide it? Why always deny ourselves from what’s actually there?

I keep thinking that maybe someday you’ll fall in love with me. That maybe I’ll say or do something that suddenly makes you realise that you’ve always loved me. It’s stupid. I should know better by now. Yet I keep hoping for a fairy tale ending anyway.
