I feel like his character concept (the techie best friend of Astro) was reused to be for Silica in the new Astro boy reboot

Digital Artblock was killing me…

Anyways I redesign Akino now YIPPPEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

I kept her hair the same ^^ but I did change her clothes to look a lil more Solarpunk? Idk idk

She def loves plants and probably is a nerd of anything regarding nature

I always hc her to be the daughter of the Scientist lady from some of the official art (they both have red wavy hair, somewhat the same nose shape and ye)

YESSSS WE HAVE FUBUKI NOW, he was so fun to draw i swear

Anywayssss that means I’ll draw Akino nextttt

He’s such a silly character OMGGG (do I have favoritism? Maybe)

I only really changed his outfit a bit actually, I didn’t know what else to change

He definitely loves technology and robots, which is probably why he’s close to Astro

I’m so sad he isn’t appearing in the new reboot 😞

Ik he has lil bot companions, I’ll draw them sooooon

Anyways I’ll make sure to draw Akino next :D

He very much looks like the 2009 Astro (which is kinda fitting for some reason?)

He’s supposed to be older than Astro I think but some sources said he’s younger? Idk idk

I’m sad she didn’t appear as a character in the Caribara reboot, buuut im actually glad that she’s gonna appear in the Mediawan reboot

Anywayssss, I wanted her design to look both like the 2003 and the 1980s anime

Im kinda undecided on her age here tho, cus for my redesign of Astro he would be 10 and I think Uran would be 7-8? But idk yet..

Basicallyyyy I made Astro look more like how he did in the 2003 anime but with some of the aspects of the reboot

And YES HE HAS BROWN EYES NOW (with blue tint lol)
