Thinking abt how even more romantic and ANGSTY it is if we consider live action link click as another alternate way they met and came to know each other.. because in the live action LG learns to move on from a loss and learns to trust and feel and rely- all from CXS. And then when we think about LG losing that same CXS, (let me have my doomed yaoi) it's obvious that he'll do anything to get him back and save him over and over even if once he'd learned to let go. Like. I need a moment. To process. How LG would go back to his old habits of wanting to save people he loved. Even if it cost him everything.

Need a 270k fic on this playing out exactly. Never mind it's canon.
