When one spoke deep voice sounds city "The Duttons are going to be home. All of em in about two hours get the twenty mercs we hired and all the automatic weapons. We will remove these damn overly cocky rich redneck trash family. The land will be ours and this fuckin store owned by the mayors wife! Kill her two along with whoever gets in the way. Yeah, have your way with the women make it fun. Then... You know ear to ear...." His voice sounded cold. Geez rape and kill us. They mean business. And my family is in danger. I try to calm my breathing was a terrified at being hurt that way. Wiped my tears suddenly my happy day goes straight to shit. I listened again the other higher pitch tone definitely city guy. "Yeah, have fun mmm I want the mayors wife, Beth, and Jessie. Fine ass women. I will have fun. I got the twenty mercs already ready. We will attack at dusk." Shit I gotta call daddy, My husband, and Kayce. I slowly ease away. Then go around corner to whisper on the phone calls @noblerancher and @radiantrancher my brows furrowed trembling some as Daddy answered.]

Daddy.....At Dusk heard these men out back saying they are gonna kill us all attacking at the Ranch. He said he was gonna rape us girls slit our throats! okay, okay. I am gonna call my husband and Kayce! I love you! Yes, yes, bye, daddy am coming home now!

[I hung up and speed dialed my husband who happened to be with Kayce investigating some cattle thieves. I was in a frantic but whisper speaking to them both.]

Baby! Get Kayce! Oh you're both there! Get to Daddy's. There was some men I over heard them they are attacking the ranch at Dusk it's only a couple hours. He said.... He-he said he was going to rape us girls slit our throats. And kill us all for the Ranch. I already spoke to daddy's. They are behind my shop so gotta go! I love you both! Bye! [My eyes bloodshot some from tears but now I was angry. Not our land we will die fighting. Protect the family. Protect the Ranch. I went inside told everyone to get the customers out, lock up, now. Then I exited out the back. They where gone. I got in my truck. Reached under the seat pulled out my glock nine, slid in the clip. Then tossed it in the seat. Fired up the truck. Punched it heading down the street before hitting the main road towards my family ranch.]

Get to the ranch as fast as you can. Get the kids and Tate and take em to my old secluded mountain man cabin in the woods the property. Should be safe there and no one knows bout it. I love you baby girl. Be safe. [I hung up the phone then ran over to Kayce in a hurry.] Kayce we gotta go. Mercs comin to the ranch we gotta go handle this shit. I told your sister to get all our kids and head to my old cabin. Come on let's go. [Gets in Kayces truck as we drove off to the ranch. Then sons of bitches gonna pay. Em fuckin with two ex military men's family.]

[I had been out checking on the puppies out back I had just bought from a old farmer near town. They where just outside by the back door in a box getting fresh air. I slipped them a bowl of water and food. Then started back to the back door when it slid open. My smile faded hearing my daughter on speaker phone sounding terrified. Soon as @noblerancher hung up I spoke in a firm tone.]

[Pulls back slowly then heads in the house to the safe where my gun and shotgun was located. Opening it up. I began loading my shotgun first. When I hear you making calls and walking away toward the stables.]

[I then went over to @rodeontrades as we went out the back.] Travis this horse business is gonna have to wait. We got some mercenaries comin to think they can take our land. You and Raelynn got post up at the bunk house. I'll have Rip send some guys there. [I then got on the phone the phone with @brandedradiant] Lil darlin you and Rip get the boy over to where the guns are. Then take some of the hands to the bunk house. Travis and Raelynn are post up there.

[Grabs my side arm putting it in it's holster on my hip. Then grabs rifle and a box of ammo starts for the house. These bastards want some well we will be ready. I was in thought mentally preparing for a fight.]
