yeahh i agree, i pretend the ending of the main series is canon bc i think it stays true to the messages Violet Evergarden (the series) has been telling to her clients and us, the viewers, of what it means to cope with the losses inflicted by the war and how to continue on with life without your loved ones.  

OMG ITS FINALLY HAPPENING

Hanako-kun’s life must have been so boring and lonely before Nene entered into his life. Afterall, he’s a dead person so he can’t interact with the living unless it’s related to granting their wish. Otherwise, he can only watch the living from afar. It also seems that even though he is on somewhat friendly terms with the over six wonders of the school, everyone prefers to keep to themselves.
