The Moon and the Little One Up in the sky, so big and bright, The moon watches over the world at night. A little child, so small and sweet, Gazes up from the window seat. "Dear Moon," the child whispers low, "Do you see me down below?" The moon just smiles, soft and wide, And wraps the night in a silver tide. "Sleep, dear one, don’t be afraid, I’ll watch over you till night does fade. Dream of wonders, laugh and play, I’ll be here when night meets day." The child sighs, eyes full of gleam, Drifting into a peaceful dream. And as the stars begin to glow, The moon hums a lullaby slow.
