Waiting for the summer

So much has happened in my life lately, but I'm back with renewed vigor (and still in the art block...) But I've made new friends! Eeeee!

When I had a hyperfixation on "Treasure planet" I thought about it too!! Also, I wanted to draw Jim with Twig lol XD

And yes this lil guy is commission. FOR ME. MWHAHAHAHAAA.

Try number 2

I just wanna learn an earth science and be a crazy scientist n traveler (*ˊᗜˋ*)

I call race "false-lings", formal it's fivelings. Why "false"? Well, the first, I'll tell ya about the animal, 'cause I have already interested you ;)

ANIMAL TYPE:

I call this animals "false-deer". In russian it's sounds better (лже-олень/lzheolén' or лже-лань/lzhelán'). That's because I think in the Edge can be animal like deer, it's logical. Or, if there aren't any ordinary deers, we have this guys now. :)

False-deer are not much different in appearance from ordinary deer. They just a bit smaller, they have got dark or black fur on the legs. Often they got light spots on their backs, just like a usual ones. So, how can you distinguish a false-deer from a regular one? It's easy, false-deer are predators. 😇

But don't you worry! Yes, they're aggressive and not friendly, but they hunt for wig-wigs, not for something like fourthlings. But they can bite you! Be careful. Oh, and wig-wigs can eat false-deers too, so, there's a balance, I guess. The strongest survives. I guess they can hunt in group? But I think they're singles. They're fast and dexterous, so, if one of false-deer see the wig-wigs, it can catch one or two and instantly bite through their bones for be safe, and after that the false-deer runs away.

I also thought about their tails. I thought made them long, thin and black tails with a ring-shaped tail tip, but I don't know, is that good idea or not. I think it is, but what do you think?

And now, RACE. False-lings or fivelings!

I guess they can live near the Riverrise in the First Age of Flight, or in a Nightwoods.

In the Third Age they could live in the City of Riverrise, but they're not active and social beings. They're closed and introverted, but curious. They can live with other peoples, but their mentality is different.

How can you distinguish a false-lings fron ordinary fourthlings? That's so easy! They have got deer horns and tails. Also they have deer legs.

In the First Age this race was unknown for most others, including academics! They're so secretive, and attention to them is not desirable. Kobold the Wise knew about them, but false-lings asked him for not tell anyone about their people.

And if some traveler-fiveling wants to go to the Sanctaphrax or the Under town, he must to cut off his horns and hide his tail. Fivelings shedding their horns every year, but cutting healthy and growing horns is SO painful and uncomfortable, but it's the price.

And about horns! If some of fivelings gives you his fallen horns, it means this person deeply respects you, and you are really dear person to him! 🫴♥

About wig-wigs now. False-lings can eat them, they're tasty for them, and they wear wig-wig's jaws like bracelet or hair clip. :3

They eat a lot, and on average they are taller than fourthlings by head or one and half head! So, if fiveling want to live with other people, he or she needs to wear long skirt, regardless of weather are them boy or girl. Because if you wear pants or something, everyone will see your "deformed" legs. ᯣ_ᯣ
