Some new years resolutions

So I’ve thrown together some loose, art-related resolutions for myself. I’ve been terrible about posting my art, and I have noticed when I do not post my art I tend to be less productive.

With that said, I will be posting a whole bunch of sketches and doodles from last year (and later) throughout the month of January that I have not shared. I will also be finishing up WIPs that I have been sitting on for a while. I think I just need a fresh slate overall and this is how I want to start that. Art, drawing, and story-telling has just always been so important and special to me and I have been sorely neglecting it these past few years. So I think this year I want to focus more on myself and just being a generally healthier, better version of myself. My creative side is an important piece of that and I don’t want to stunt or neglect that.

Very rough sketch of Noa. Still playing around with the surface pro 4, it is only really effective with certain programs. I used Leonardo for this one, the program is still on beta (I was using it on trial but its 39USD while in its beta phase so its pretty reasonable). I was pleasantly surprised at how powerful the program was. It really makes up for the pressure sensitivity the surface pro lacks. I don’t know how well it works for colouring but I’ve got to say I am impressed.
