So based on what Heinrich said to Klara I'm guessing she was one of the kids that was in his Avatar Multi-Level Marketing downline (that's what I'm calling it). That's my guess but if there's evidence against that let me know.

This is just a theory: The Externals seem...a lot more independent than the Avatars. With TMA you could get the sense from their statements that they were often aware and even worshipped the Entities. The Externals so far, either former humans or fear creations, seem to simply feed for their own hunger rather than something else's. Sure, Avatars feel their Entity's hunger too but idk, something about the language the two different podcasts use really feels like the Externals are more their own thing rather than fingers of a bigger hand. The kids that tell Heinrich's story seem almost like proto-avatars OF Heinrich, however there's been no indication that they feed along with him on the fear or if they just like scaring others like normal mischievous kids.
