Also not going to lie, Karma doesn't shame AO3 fanfics. He doesn't mind you talking about your favourite characters because they don't exist. Not in this world, at least. Whether it is an actor or actress playing the role, he knows that the role doesn't exist. He's not that erratic.

Ok so, Karma has never been to college, because he got a one-on-one top-notch homeschool education. Professionals from various walks of life taught him various subjects, which is why he's able to pick up or speak languages fluently. He also had to learnt finance, accounting, literature, history, law, physical combat, psychology and many more as he was next in line. And to be a leader of such a clandestine organisation, Karma had to be both mentally and physically strong.

But it was a lot of pressure, and took most of his childhood away, especially in his upper teenage years. Very rarely was he able to communicate with his brothers, so he'd often sneak out or stay up late at nights to make sure they were okay, and to see how they were doing. As he became more confident, he kept doing it until he was caught. Which, expectedly, angered T'Abuelo and got him severely punished.

So in the case of nutrition and computer programming, it is actually more of a hobby that blossomed in his years when he was the leader of the Sangres before escaping it entirely. He considers these hobbies therapeutical, and also challenging - as those were the subjects that had the least pressure.

In terms of the rest of their brothers:

Kallisto started with top-notch education but due to his tumor his lessons significantly dwindled. As a way to "ease his mind", he was sent to private school to continue his studies. However he skipped a lot of classes lol

Karma's 3rd brother was in the exact same program, but had to stop due to finances.

Karma's 4th brother didn't have the chance to get into the program due to finances, so they went to public schools. Same for the 5th.

If he was able to choose a major I'd think he would go for Nutritional Sciences, Woodworking and Leatherworking and Upholstery. He'd say it's "nothing too big" or "it's pretty chill" .

Ok so when I was first started this, I had to immediately draw up a Pinterest board, or a rough mood board to start.

Note that this is a very basic scope of the mood board. Hence, I decided to group the most significant inspirations and references here:

When grouping my ideas I thought of the following:

Androgynous in both design and shape, as this character uses they/them pronouns

TALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL or taller than Kallisto for SURE (he's a short king)

Strong arms

Moss acting as a frilly leather boot -> link

Dried leaves acting as padded arms -> link

Torn shirt to indicate the character's origin (Texas)

Net/Nets to act as a made-up strap to keep the shirt

To have bones on their tail to indicate their pride

Crocodile legs to further indicate their crocodile roots (see above)

Ideas that I most definitely wanted to keep:

"Cat tail" imagery, Cannon black hair

Dark/Bark brown skin tone - I'm aware that this was probably an unintended error, but I decided to run with it and use trees to pick out their skin tone!

Strong jaw, defined nose, orange beady eyes

Crocodile bones

Muscular legs - HAD TO ! ! !!

Ideas that I struggled to add in:

Meat / Mystery??? - I wasn't entirely sure how to add meat, and looking it up made me uncomfortable over time. I'm not sure why, but I'm very sorry for not including it.

Bones - I realized that over time the bone thing on the tail would be meticulous and inpratical, so I was thinking of placing it in their pockets, their moss frills (?), and on their stomach, but I couldn't find a way to place it somewhere in the end. And the saddest thing that when writing this post is that I could've REALLY put it in their hair!!!!!!!!

Flood water - I think this required an environment, which I couldn't do since I had to speedrun this 😭 (dying).

Nature folk vibes - I grouped net and moss as seawater, aquatic themes rather than nature folk. So as a result I don't believe I hit the mark on the vibes.

Slightly chubby - Honestly this is the one I'm most disappointed about. I can do heavy chunk, and little chunk, but struggled with mid chunk. In the final design, i do not consider this interpretation chubby, so I felt like I lose the mark here as well.

Challenges:

Dark skin tone - Even though I have been doing them lately (Karma's cousins), but I was struggling here as this character required regular lighting, not dynamic lighting. So I searched the Internet for some advice here and there and I think it really popped as a result!!! However, but making it pop I also lost the Cannon black hair 😭🙏 forgive me Cryptic anon 😭😭😭🙏🙏🙏

Character's shape and size - Originally I had the character pretty huge and tall, but I felt like I didn't have a solid goal in mind - which kept making me lose more and more of their essence and androgyny in the finalized version:

3a - I honestly had no clue where this came from and I thought it looked great.

3b - I was in rush to have an idea of what their outfit would look like. But this ultimately contributed to the final.

Final - A culmination of 3a and 3b, which I felt left the original form and the slightly chubby shape of 1 and 2. I also think that I was focused on the poise of the character, as I wanted to highlight their personality rather than their shape, which could explain why I lost it over time.

But overall, I think I did a pretty good interpretation of your OC. While I did use my creative license, I hope that if I do draw them in the future, I'll be more on the nose next time. They also seem badass and pretty cool :D

Also Kallisto isn't as horny as Karma, but seeing this MC would make him F O L D (if the mermaid clothing wasn't enough). Guy would legit make a fuss and then summon your OC just to say "take me with you" type shit and genuinely ask his brother to have their hand in marriage, even though they both know he isn't responsible enough to do that 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭.

And for a little tidbit I DID reference the images in this post to highlight how submissive and breedable this man is. I kid you not his unhinged lines would go like:

"get me pregnant, and make me fatherless" - in the most serious tone you can imagine, full-ass frown and glare (imagine the "locked in" meme)

"plz eat me" - because he literally wants to be inside you ☠️☠️☠️☠️☠️☠️☠️

Other than his close friends, he would just send human sacrifices once per month

Insert him doing swimming lessons again 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

He would, for the first time, pray to God to be a mermaid or part of your OC's hair in the next life (or in his current life)

1. in the Mother’s Day post it had karma saying he monitors everything we do/everything pertaining to us, how far does he go to keep that from us?

2. He is said to be monitoring our parents, does he reach out to them at all or interact with them in any way without us there?

3. And if we were to find out how much he’s watching us and we are not into (not saying I’m not 😛), how far would he be willing to go to try and diffuse the situation?

First of all Anon - no! No one has asked these questions!!!!! SO NO, you will NOT GET BLOWN UP BUT YOU HAVE MY TOKEN OF APPRECIATION BC HEBFWNFNERNRFE YOU'VE TAKEN YOUR TIME TO TYPE THIS ASK I AM SO SOS SO SOS OS SOKSOS GRATEFUL HUZZAH ! ! ! ! ! ! !

(1) To an extreme degree. Karma has always played the fool, and ensures that your relationship stays that way. He doesn't disclose information that you haven't revealed throughout your relationship, and I'd even say he has a record to review such information. He rehearses it in his head before you wake up, when you're completely out of earshot and have a line of sight. This also includes when you both have your silent moments. But if there's one thing he will never do - or prays that he doesn't do - is fuck up. Because he knows that once a line is crossed, there is no way of going back, especially if your response to his infatuation is rejection (understandably so).

(2) In truth, him observing your parents is not as meticulous nor as active as you think. This is also dependent on the state of the parent.

Say, if one of your parents were incapacitated - Karma would actually be a lot more riskier in his observation. He'd actively go to the location while you're fast asleep and knocked out. He's not a fan of sleeping pills, so Karma would do everything in his power to either (a) fuck you silly or (b) make you do strenuous tasks that tire you out or (c) make excuses such as: "Sorry Xax, can't make breakfast today" or "I overslept. I'm so sorry!" and such. He'd try not to do it as often, but I don't think he'd be able to stop himself - as his empathy would get the best of him (which would make him slip up).

If your parents were fine - Karma would do a simple run-over of your (group)chats and phone calls. He'd also keep an eye on your parents' employers every now and then. But his main priority would be you.

(3) It depends on how confident you are.

If you're timid or unsure - He'll ease in to that uncertainty and explain himself with more lies. His gaslighting would be smooth, silent, and deadly.

If you're confident and won't gaslight yourself - THEN Karma would freak out. If there's one thing he cannot beat, is intuition, especially if it's backed up by evidence. He knows that lying would make things worse, and silence would do the same. So he only knows what he can.

Knock you out, and keep you locked.

And once he finishes those tasks, then he'll physically freak out. Nails biting, yanking his hair, screaming, crying. To know that he can no longer be your ideal boyfriend, a lover that you would want to marry and hold to for life, would absolutely crush him. He has to throw away a love that no longer exists.

But once he accepts it, he'll go cold. He'll be strict and ruthless on you. He'll use your parents, friends - anything as a bargaining chip. And if you somehow forget? He wouldn't go back to happy, chill Karma. Because he knows that the human mind eventually remembers, hence his bad endings here.

But what happens if you're down with that? If you're just as obsessed as him?

Woah, woah, woah, woah - he did NOT see that coming. He'd freak out, and just outright say that "He needs time to process" lol. Karma would then go in his bed, and just get a good night's sleep before waking up and having that discussion with you LMFAO. He'd then figure out what to do from there. But overall, he'd be happy to know that he doesn't need to hide his past from you anymore.

Fact 1: Aristotle has a mouth on her right knee, and names it Chamomile. Her mouth is not 100% sentient.

Fact 2: Aristotle loves calligraphy, and the many styles that come with it. She is also very specific on the ink and parchment she uses, and in her spare time, she teaches children to read and write.

Fact 3: Aristotle loves traveling! But she doesn't like traveling by plane. So she normally stays within Europe, Asia, and Africa.

Fact 4: Aristotle's aunt is named Narkai. Here's what she looks like:

Fact 5: She likes rocking chairs. Mostly because of her mom normally cradled her in rocking chairs.

Fact 6: Aristotle is a very clean and orderly person. Whereas Karma enjoys a slight chaotic mess from time to time, Aristotle will not stand for it. It is quite a concerning habit.

Fact 7: Aristotle doesn't like paintings, since she used to stay and sit still for a long time (she was born before photography became a thing).

Fact 8: Aristotle doesn't like touching blood or handling blood. She only engages in blood if it means she gets to feed and aid her people.

Fact 9: Aristotle despises jewelry. She is a very superstitious person, and considers jewelry as a curse. She's also forced to wear jewelry, since she has to appease clients as a prostitute.

Fact 10: Aristotle considers nature as sacred. A lot of purebloods greatly respect their environment, and its normally tradition for them to consider animals and plants as signs and mediums to speak between worlds. In this case, Aristotle considers the environment as her way of speaking to her parents and people who've passed.

Fact 11: Aristotle strongly prefers live performances over recorded music. She feels that radios are a medium for spirits to pass through, and feels like music is a distraction or a barrier. She also feels like recorded music misses the warmth and sincerity that live performances have. Plus, she doesn't like it as a background noise as she doesn't want to lose the essence of the music being played. So in many cases she sits in silence (and also why she hates the brothel).

Fact 12: Aristotle ironically, enjoys sunlight! My guess is that she enjoys what she can't touch. But when it's sunlight, it means she can relax and take a rest. So she's come to appreciate it.

Fact 13: She is unsure about her feelings towards Kallisto. Kallisto has had a small crush on Aristotle since they were kids, and has been very confrontational about it. But Aristotle is not sure whether to be honest and put herself in more trouble, or play with his feelings. She prefers to pretend that it doesn't exist.

Fact 14: Aristotle has a rough idea of Karma's grandmother. T'Abuelo has done a lot to restrict and censor information about Karma's grandma as she is his greatest weakness. She is also key to how the Sangres became the way they were (ish). The only reason Aristotle even knows this is through her father, Adolophus.

Fact 15: Aristotle hates Karma's younger brothers. Specifically the 4th and 5th since they always made her cry when she was young.

Fact 16: She has a best friend within the brothel, Padmakshi! However, I just made her not too long ago lol so I'll get back to her story later.

But wow! I was really struggling with Aristotle on this one. At least these fun facts will give me some time to develop her character in the background.

It's a bit complicated! You see, he can be killed - he is just much harder to kill as he physically up to shape. So his physical weakness is similar to a muscular human with a little benefits here and there.

But mentally, well. His biggest weakness is his paranoia and overthinking. It's a double-edged sword; for when it is pushed to the extreme Karma can easily break down within seconds. Not even MC can get him when he's in that mood. So a lot of times he uses silence to calm his thoughts (hence why he's silent so often). There's also the fact that he hasn't really confronted his trauma, but has silenced it - which is the normal Sangre way of doing things lol.

I'd say that his bad ends are a prime example of him going insane. But other than that, I'm still working on the physical weaknesses on my end.

WELL FIRST OFF - I HAVE FINALLY FINISHED THE IMMEDIATE FAMILY AND SHIZ YAYYYYYYYYY 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉

So I'm actually ready to post it (which might be long?) - but BEFORE I DO - I'll give you guys some teasers:

(1) Two of them have partly been mentioned on the blog! It's just been a long time ago.

(2) You and Karma will be going on a trip to Cuba! 😉

(3) There is a healthy family out of the bunch lol...

In terms of the extended family, it used to be BIG, since Karma's great-grandfather practically slept around. But that has dwindled severely thanks to T'Abuelo's influence lol. So the majority of the Karma's extended family consist of T'Abuelo's family (who are in-laws), while the minority are those who have pledged their allegiance to not overtake the throne.

But things have changed a lot since T'Abuelo passed.

There's also others who are titled "aunty" and "uncle" but are not so. It's pretty much allies or good friends/acquaintances but this has changed thanks to a new leader taking over. hehehehe

I actually haven't put much thought into the extended ones. But I know that they're all quite eager to become the big honcho of the Sangre family lololol.
