…and yet he does not waste a second in putting on a brave face and saving the universe. He laughs when someone cracks a joke, comforts the daughter of his worst enemy who destroyed whatever little bit of happiness he had and killed the only family he had left because despite the fact that everything he holds dear is annihilated again and again and again without a moment of reprieve he knows that other people are in pain too and he cannot burden them with his own grief AND the only time he expresses a mere inch of the actual pain and suffering he has experienced is when someone asks him about it.
