AIDOS

Volvo 240 Turbo, 1981. This was Volvo's first turbocharged passenger car, part of an effort to add excitement to its safe but dull image. It was based on the robust B21ET engine, boosted to 155hp driving the rear wheels through a 4-speed manual with electric overdrive. It is pictured with the Volvo PV4, which was Volvo's first saloon car, produced from 1927 to 1929.

STOP! Police! BMW Isetta 300 Polizei, 1958. A factory-modified version of the "bubble car" used by German police forces in the late 1950s and early 1960s, with unique police equipment like flashing lights, radiotelephones, and specific paint schemes to serve local constabularies, deep green for Lower Saxony (Niedersachsen).

General Motors XP-512G, 1969. An open roadster version of the 512 microcar that was powered by a two-cylinder gasoline engine (hence 512G), giving it a top speed of 72 km/h (45 mph) and a range of approximately 450 km (280 miles). Along with the other commuter concepts, it formed part of GM's "Progress of Power" exhibition in 1969.
