Heard this at an event I went to and it had me reflecting, thought I’d share it.

Tithes isn’t only about supporting:building God’s house. It’s about respecting and reverencing Him. What you do first matters. God doesn’t want any 10%, He wants your first bc He wants and needs to be your first priority. If He’s in first place, you gotta act like it.

(I thought I posted day 3 but it really was something I felt led to share this morning therefore here is day 3, the real day 3)

So I’ve been xtra distracted lately and it was getting really bad like lazy levels were up and I wasn’t listening and just all around distracted. I had to stop and really ground myself with morning devotion (I even stopped doing that for a bit) and just make a change and own up to my lack of integrity with my last post bc Holy Spirit convicted me. I’m here and I’m gonna finish what I started!

So I’m gonna switch it up again and for the next 5 days I’m gonna post something that God doesn’t know. This is a form of evangelism that’s outside of me sharing my stories with y’all. I’ll still stick to that though too.

2. More importantly that I’m inspired by what I witnessed. Someone I grew up with was nominated for something amazing and won. The love they received and the kind words spoken about them echoed multitudes. They’re younger than me but they inspired me. They even made me feel bad about where I am right now unintentionally, and that’s the attack of yourself and the enemy to fill that feeling with pride because since you’re older you should be better. NO, bc we all have our own journeys. They inspired me to influence the next generation and those around me, to give in all ways and lanes with pure kindness, to have compassion in a Christ like way, to be determined, to toughen up and work hard, and to be resilient. Most importantly loving and optimistic. I’m grateful I had that experience today and I now am asking God to rid me of any form of selfishness, pride, and anything unlike him that won’t produce God like qualities like these.

Relationships are work. Wouldn’t you be mad if you’re dating someone and they don’t hit you up except once a week for only a lil bit. God’s relationships requires us to be in His presence & His word. Take each day with Him and you’ll have a foundation that’ll never shake nor crack.

: You can NOT have your cake and eat it too. This is different from the transformation process but once we know better, it’s our responsibility to do better. The “God understands” line is a lie, He doesn’t. He is forgiving though so when you mess up don’t run away, run to Him. P.S.: voluntary ignorance doesn’t count.

I have my 2nd to last final exam today and haven’t really been eating well at all physically these last two days, I was aware of that the first day and proceeded to do it the second. I also knew I had a final and procrastinated and didn’t study for it, instead I watched YouTube sermons. Now my exam is in 30 minutes and I have no concrete knowledge I remember from class. Someone sent me answers to cheat but I just posted about integrity yesterday. How would God and even y’all look at me if I became a hypocrite...so I made the bed I must sleep in. I repent from my ways this week and can only wait to see if God grants me extreme mercy. Taking accountability is important even for Christians who claim everything is covered by grace, mercy, and favor. Thank you God for allowing me to even see what’s wrong with what I did and giving me a heart that can move up from that. God is teaching me that relying on Him in a way of a constant last minute miracle isn’t okay bc the work behind it wasn’t there, God isn’t with the random spurts of procrastination; He wants people that plan and sit and think. Going back to doing that; these last couples weeks I’ve been everywhere. Glad y’all can learn from me and with me and even teach me too.
