the hardest part about abuse is figuring out and learning what is normal. what is normal behavior, on their part and your part, what is invalidating and what do you just think is invalidating, what is real? and people say they’re gaslighting you, but you know they don’t have bad intentions, and can they really gaslight you if they don’t mean to? what about this is real and what are you making up? Because you know you’re overexaggerating some stuff because you can have delusions, but you know you aren’t exaggerating some other stuff. what is real and abusive and unhealthy and toxic, and what is you feeling sorry for yourself? what is you clinging onto being a victim, to cope, and what is you being a normal human?

Thank god this posts exist because I’m having a complete and utter meltdown and this is one of the only things I’ve seen tonight that captures the complete chaos of this shit
