It started with simple eye contact across from the bar. You were enjoying your well-filtered engex when a group of strangers walked into your usual place.
Shy Mouse was a little Cybertronian bar in the center of the trader planet Keksi-07 and one of the well-used ones so you got visitors all the time, despite the name.
So when a new group of stranger mechs walked into the bar you paid them no mind, until one of them yelled. "Good evening mechs and femmes!"
You turned your attention towards the group and you blinked. Decepticons. Huh. It wasn't every day they would just burst into the bar and demand attention.
The huge purple Con with a Decepticon mask looked around when he got everyone's attention.
"Good. We are looking for a Decepticon cause's traitor called ChainLink. I heard he was last seen in here. Every bit of information will be rewarded handsomely!"
Mechs and femmes left and right started whispering to each other, some no doubt thinking about actually ratting out some poor bastard, but you knew better.
The mech they were looking for had been in Shy Mouse a week or so ago, but he had said he would seek refuge in Cybertron. There was no way these Decepticons could get to him.
"I might know something." You said and the masked Con turned his attention to you and made his way to you.
"So, you know about this coward called ChainLink?" He asked and you nodded. "Know him? We drank together just a week ago."
"My, you must then know where he is?"
"Yeah, I do." You nodded and took a sip of your drink. "So, what would I gain if I told you where he is?"
"I would reward you handsomely for some information." The dark purple con said, but you shook your helm.
"I don't want your money." You said and you made a show of looking at him from the tip of his pedes to the top of his helm.
"Oh?" The Con hummed, "I believe we can come to an agreement that will benefit both of us." He offered his hand to you, "I'm Tarn, and a pretty femme like you is called...?"
You told him your name and Tarn smiled. "Where would you like to exchange our information?"
You smiled as you pushed your lukewarm engex away before getting up and motioning Tarn to follow you. "Come. I have a room upstairs. Do you feel brave enough to join me?"
"Lady, you lead the way." Tarn nodded to his men, "Make yourselves comfortable. I'll return soon."
"Not too soon, I hope?" You smiled and the purple Con crooned as he followed you upstairs.
