I was going through my old sketched as one does and remembered this gem I did when I first read the colour of magic… so the context here is I learned the words tinder and tumbler were actual words that can be used in sentences that I found just there in the book and me and my friend decided « wait what if Rincewind had tinder? » and then soon later we asked « what if Twoflower had tumblr? » and here is the result of that sketch… should I finish it? Like this gave me a good laugh I lowkey might
No disrespect but I cannot handle the official art with Rincewind depicted as a grey haired old wizard. Every bone in my body knows this guy is a 30-40 year old walking disaster who got kicked out of college and wanders the planet against his will and is stuck in the middle of his life making things up as he goes along (affectionate).
in tsod number im pretty sure 4??? hes mentioned to appear middle aged, which is usually the age range between 35 absolute earliest to 45 in my experience! pretty sure he doesn't have a full beard either, but i have no literary proof of that unfortunately. he's scruffy and disheveled and overall weird looking but he does get his age assumed to be middle by a woman from our world, so that's that. more people should read tsod, it contains crucial information both in terms of world building and character development!!! rincewind likers especially 👀👀

Two of my good friends, HeathyWolf and JunkyCat, are losing their chance at top surgery due to the Kyrgyzstan government pushing anti-trans legislation as we speak, wishing to ban all gender-affirming surgery. The gist, however, is that they need to raise around 5k USD to fund both of their surgeries before July 4th, due to the situation with trans rights in the region taking a rapid nose-dive for the worse (i.e. banning these types of surgeries altogether). Surgery for them is a matter of safety as they are both masc presenting but cannot legally change their documents in their country until they’ve had top surgery. And documents not matching their presentation are not only a hassle but a potential danger in a highly homophobic and transphobic region.
