Know Hope⚓

I don’t even know where to begin..... I am absolutely gutted and my heart is breaking.

“Without our ups and downs, we're all just living dead.” “When we lose ourselves we find each other”

On Sunday, I had received heavy news. A dear beloved classmate of mine took his own life. He was one of the funniest and most down to earth person. He made everyone laugh and smile. My heart is breaking for his family and friends. It enrages me to know suicide is a silent killer. It doesn’t discriminate against anyone. It will take anyone and everyone who succumbs to the very idea of it. “Leave a mark upon the world, not across your arms, a mark upon the world too beautiful for scars.”

I cannot stress this enough, to anyone who feels like all seems lost and hopeless.... HANG ON! It gets better. Whatever you are going through now will shape, mold, and guide you through to a better person. I PROMISE. Ask yourself this question and really sit on it for a moment; ”What if this version of me gave up today and who it could be?”  “Suicide doesn't end the pain, it passes to the ones you love and remains. Take yourself out of the equation and the problem stays. When I speak such a word, are you uneasy with how it's heard? The stigma will never leave unless all of us can just start talking.”

If you think no one will listen to you, there are ways to get help. Confide in your best friend, tell your teacher,TELL SOMEONE. You are here for a reason, maybe you haven’t found it yet but you will. You can even talk to me if need be, I am here for anyone who needs it. There is always someone who will listen and cares for you well being. 

“The chances of you even being born were forty million to one. There's two parts of the statistic and I want you to live through one.”

I know all too well of this epidemic. I have had dear friends of mine claimed by suicide. I myself have even tried to take my own life and I am happy that I have decided to stay. It is devastating to loved one for the ones who follow thorugh. When grueling thoughts arise turn your pain/emotions into a creative outlet.

Singing

Exercising

Videogames

You can also visit HeartSupport and get connected with people all around the world struggling with similar issues as well. If you want to know more about this, there is even a program you can do right on your computer. It was one of the best things that I did for myself!

Please know that what you are going through at this very moment is never in vain. KNOW HOPE that things will get better. For what is causing you pain can one day help another person along the way. You will be able to be a light for someone who is walking around in the dark. I love you guys so much and I am here to help you guys!
