"I know...." He closed his eye, blacking out the world for a moment. "And I do." Not thaf the evening had showed it when he hadn't said a thing about the wound.

She had already called them. "I brought some ice for while we wait for your ribs." She murmured once she had gotten him to sit in one of the chairs. "And I'll get some asprin and water. Just....dont move yeah?" She knew that his job had always been physical but also knew that this was a very different kind of physical. "Is that from a barbed wire?" She asked, judging from the looks of it. And in general how common it was for that to be a problem out here.
