his plan hadn’t been to start living two separate lives from the beginning, however, time slipped from under him and once his brain caught up, he wasn’t sure how to get himself out with clean hands. selfish, undoubtedly, but as long as he was careful enough, he could only hope the issue would solve itself. whether he’d rather have his actual girlfriend to break up with him or allow time to show that aurora wasn’t the right match, that was another detail seemingly out of his hands. after putting the last dishes away, marcus’ lets his body crash down on the couch, own mind freezing for a second at her words, wondering for a moment if his ears were fooling him or not. “what? what are you talking about?” his arms instinctively cross over his chest, brows furrowing.

my last exam is may 14th and then i am done with uni

(for context i have been in love with the same guy for like 6 years. i can’t detail everything that has happened bc there is TOO MUCH but lets just say he fucked off with someone else, so he doesn’t want me, but won’t quite let me go) 

so i come down the stairs the other day and my mum is like hey you know at work?? and i’m like uh yeah, and she goes, do u know a ben (the guy i’ve been in love with for six years) from gm? and i’m like oh god WHY 

“oh i’ve been working with his girlfriend :)” (the girl he slept with behind my back, left me for, has rubbed in my face at every possible opportunity)

i’ve never hated anyone as much as this girl (bc i’m jealous obv), i have spent literal years comparing myself to her wondering why i wasn’t good enough and she was. like she makes my literal blood boil 

and now my mother is working with her (and getting on with her from what i can tell?)
