Hi. Ignore this if you want but have you read Lolita? I finished it just a few weeks ago and have been thinking about it since and have also been assuming (altho i sure might be wrong) that you have, & thinking that out of the various art ive seen that's downstream of it in some way serious weakness is one of the few where im really interested in the conversation between the two. I mean there is so much there, to start with the (entirely contrasting, i think, but meaningful) way "new" communications/pop culture grounds the respective worlds and their "normality", and though tria and insul have a very different relationship than dolores and h.h. insul's understanding and forcible extraction of tria's beauty is reminiscent of the nymphet concept.
