Why I love them: It goes without question that Tohru is the sweetest and kindest person in the anime/manga world. To a fault. Kyo is arguably the angriest person. It’s so sweet watching these two balance each other out. Tohru not only looks for the best in Kyo, but helps him see the good things, too. Kyo, on the other hand, encourages Tohru to stand up for herself. Even though the anime left us wanting more, the manga continued their relationship all the way to marriage, which is a payoff we don’t always get. Oh, and he’s a cat.
