â Did you always want to be a Vet or was it something your family wanted and you just grew to love it?â She knows her dad loved being a cop and her mom loved law but Veronica always wondered if they always did? Did people always love the career they chose? From beginning to end? Through the good and bad?
Veronica couldnât help but smile thinking about Bram. âI do at least I hope. Itâs nothing against Ben but the bond is just different with with Bram. I know people are surprised because itâs usually same gender siblings that are the closest. I just canât explain it. Do you have siblings?â
âOh, no, something Iâve always wanted. I think my parentâs were worried about how much I was an animal lover. They were worried Iâd bring unexpected pets into the house.â And there were times that he did, especially when he was younger. He had always wanted to help animals in need out which is how he got into volunteering at the shelter. His parentâs figured it was the best way for him to take his need to help and have a positive outlet for it. âAlways love related,â there had been a time in his life, back in high school, where love had been simple, it had been easy and he had done nothing but blow up his own life recently. He nodded his head to her words, âItâs easy to get lost in the fray.â Armin noted in response. Nodding his head to her words, âIâd say I get it, but no,â he hook his head, âI grew up with no siblings,â as an only child he really didnât understand a strong sibling bond outside one that he formed with close friends but he knew that it was not the same. As his phone went off in his pocket, he looked up at Veronica, âAh, work calling already. I will see you around, Veronica,â he smiled at her as he stood up, brushing the sand from his pants. âThe animals await.â
