“I didn’t knew it was this easy to get sick. I actually feel like I’m dying, and I actually want to die faster. Have you any painkiller or, I don’t know, a rope or a gun so I could kill myself faster?”

“Yeah I got aspirin. What do yuo have? A cold or the flu or...?”

“Just an update on rules and stuff. But then its a waste.”

“I might have been watching too many movies…”

“You might have. And movies are mostly exaggerated anyways.”

“Think of them eating your brains out.”

“They really aren’t that bad. They’re medicinal when used properly. And they don’t eat your brains out.”

Micheal titled his head to the left. “This isn’t funny, it’s one of my worst fears.” He said, letting out a chuckle.

“Leeches?” She smiles softly

“Yeah I’m fine” he nods. “ I like how peaceful it is up here”

“Sounds like me and water.”

“Uh sorry, was I staring? It’s just that you have this thing on your cheek and it bugs me…Chocolate maybe?”

“Oh no, not chocolate.” She pretends to pull it off her cheek. “Leech.” she’s joking but keeps her face and voice even to pull off the seriousness.

“I seriously hate having meetings with my boss.  Suits are the death of me.  I much prefer gym shorts or sweats and a t-shirt.”

“A meeting? What about? Maybe just... Change after?”

“I know, right? Hurricanes always terrified me, so much that I would never move ta a place that have them a lot”

“Then where I’m from is not the place for you.” She laughs

“Well, good thin’ that you’re on a place that there’s actually a possibility of rainin’ now then”

“Yeah, I suppose I am. I’m glad there aren’t too many hurricanes here either.”

“I’m like, five hundred percent sure that dog over there is stalking me and watching my every move so he can pounce on me and devour me at the perfect time,” she said, staring across the street at a dog. “He does this every day. He just stares at me. And he follows me places, just watching. He’s like… a dog spy or something, man. It’s creepy.”

“Or he just wants you to take him home and adopt him and love him.”

“Have you always wanted ta see snow? Or you didn’t mind that you weren’t able ta? Exactly, we need ta keep bein’ positive”

“No I always wanted to see it, the fluffiness and the cold. And I try to keep my head up.”

“Aw, please don’t cry on me.. I’m horrible at making people feel better.. just think of happy things.. like the water and being a mermaid.” 

“Being a mermaid is something I truly love.”

“It’s kind of sad that we didn’t get snow yet in this winter, but my fingers are crossed, winter is not over yet, there’s still time, so I still have some hope”

That’s true. I do find snow beautiful, I’m not used to it, but it is beautiful. And Winter is only barely half over, we still have two months, technically.”

“Rainy days just make me want to curl up in bed with a hot coffee and a good movie. Where are you from? I can’t imagine living somewhere that’s constantly rainy and dreary.”

“Oh, I’m not. I’m from an Island, Key West. I hate the Drizzle and the dreary, that’s why I miss home.”
