Hana had an habit of sneaking off camp, it was usually at night time but yesterday she had lost track of time and had made it back just a few minutes ago. When a camper stopped near her she looked up, a bit worried. It hadn’t been long time she arrived so getting caught wasn’t an option. Hana didn’t smile at the camper just nodded at her, “Yeah, hi. You just got here, right?”

“What room are you looking for?”

“The room with the piano.” 

“The first day ain’t so bad. It’s gonna be the second day that’s gonna kick your ass. After that, it ain’t nearly as bad as you’re actin’ like it’s gonna be. C’mon. Bright and early. We all do it.”

“Well, that’s comforting.” She muttered, sighing. “I hope it’s not as bad as I think it is.” Hana said, more to herself than to her sister. “I hate mornings.” Sure. She was being extremely pessimistic, but right now, the girl hadn’t had a drop of coffee, and had only slept for four hours. She was in desperate need for a nap. “Does everyone start training with swords?”

“You don’t sound so sure.” Hana spoke, raising a brow before shrugging and looking down at her book.

Hana smiled when she heard the voice, she was not familiar with the song but still, it was a good one. She kept quiet, smiling warmly, waiting for the right time to speak up. “It’s a good song.”

Harlem charged against his opponent in the ring, an over-dramatic battle cry coming from his lips as he raised his bat high. Then oof His opponent knocked him down flat on the floor. Getting helped off the arena floor by some other kids to sit next to the girl wasn’t his finest moment, then again neither was the battle cry. “Well at least you aren’t in the ring yet. That girl is brutal.” He said, motioning towards the young Iris camper, who couldn’t be more than 8, who knocked him flat on his back.

The boy was loud, too loud, it was aggravating but she didn’t say anything. In fact, Hana had been talking more to herself than to him, but he spoke back and well, it wouldn’t be easy to just ignore him when they were the only two close enough to have a proper conversation. His comment made her scoff, the girl didn’t look like that much of a challenge, Hana had been observing for a while now. “She’s like seven, though.” She finally spoke, not meaning to be too cruel. “It was probably the battle cry, most campers who do it get caught. Like that one–-” Hana pointed to a girl who gave out a vicious batle cry and was now in the floor. “I think it’s a common mistake, but I haven’t tried it yet so.” Looking around she sighed, it was a noisy place but she couldn’t leave yet. Not even an hour has passed. “Is it possible for someone to die in here or are there precautions? Other than the heavy armour.”
