for the sake of the comfort and safety of the other rpers in this fandom, i’m going to be the asshole right now and i’m going to make a public call out post because this is ridiculous.
as most of you know already, @hornedchief has been being constantly HARASSED by an individual. that’s right, HARASSED. what they’re doing is called HARASSMENT. and they’re not the only one. i’m being targeted by this individual as well, and have been on the receiving end of this.
we are not the only ones. as far as i know, there are also a couple of other blogs who have been subjected to this harasser, and are still being harassed.
we’ve received really uncomfortable and highly inappropriate asks and IM’s from this individual, both straight from their blog or on anon (and it’s OBVIOUS it’s them). they constantly barrage the ask-box/IM trying to desperately garner our attention, when we’ve clearly expressed no interest. when we’ve rejected them, they are simply making more empty blogs to continue. they’ve done this to side-step all the blocking hornedchief has been doing, and me as well. this IS NOT OK!!! THIS IS CALLED HARASSMENT!!!
this is not “i really admire you”! (yes i’ve seen your damn post being sad about being blocked). WE ARE NOT OUR CHARACTERS WE PORTRAY. YOU CANNOT TREAT US AS SUCH. YOU CANNOT HARASS US BECAUSE OF YOUR “ADMIRATION” FOR THE CHARACTERS. “oh but you’re roleplaying characters that are hot/everyone likes.” “you should’ve known this would happen, with that buff character you’re playing” “they just want to talk to their favourite character.” NO. THESE ARE NOT EXCUSES FOR WHAT THAT INDIVIDUAL IS DOING. JUST BECAUSE WE ARE PLAYING CHARACTERS THAT ARE BUFF OR WHATEVER DOES NOT GIVE ANYONE ANY RIGHT TO HARASS US.

They do love each other though, but it may just be platonically.

First off, the animation. God the animation was to die for. It was so pretty and beautiful and this is some of the prettiest animation I’ve seen in awhile. The fur, detail, rain, snow, all so beautiful.
The characters were great, ok. Nick gosh I love him;;; Judy was so sweet and bad ass and I have to admit Finnick is one of my faves now. Also Clawhauser was precious and I think he and Bogo should hook up woopsie. I really loved Yax too and Mr. and Mrs. Otterton are my otp.
To be quite honest I’m really happy they kept Judy and Nick just friends. It’s so rare to see a pairing of the opposite sex put together in movies not actually end up in a romantic relationship together. They were just really good cute friends and that made me so happy.
I’m sort of sad though that Mr and Mrs. Otterton didn’t get more screen time. I honestly loved them so much and I just want more from their relationship aaaah.
The message was also really powerful. It’s addressing issues we’re currently having today and it did it in such a creative and moving way. This movie is perfect for anyone because it tells you know matter who you are, you can do anything you set your heart and mind to.
I think Mrs. Bellwether was a good villain. Her reveal wasn’t at all big she just kind of showed up and didn’t really declare you just had to figure it out by the situation. Even if I miss classic Disney villains where we know they’re evil from the start, it’s still fun to see a villain reveal.
Even though some of the pacing felt rushed at times, I think they did a really good job with the story and how it was told. I felt they could’ve done the ending a bit different though with the whole Nick pretending to be savaged and tricking Bellwether into thinking he killed Judy when he bit her. I felt if they had actually had Nick become savage, and have Judy say something or do something that snapped him out of it and showed predators were evolved and stronger than the night howlers, that could’ve been more powerful for their friendship. I don’t know, that’s just me.
All in all, Disney has created a truly moving and powerful film with some really great animation and character design. And I can’t wait to see it again this spring break!
Now, about rping. Believe me when I say I love this movie so much. So many great memories were made tonight since I saw it with friends. I know it’ll forever be our movie. Before I saw this movie though, as you may have seen already, I got into the TFTB fandom. Getting into that really lowered my hype for the movie. It really put in some perspective once I saw it because, all my expectations were met but, that was it. It was good as I believed it was going to be, but it didn’t do anything that really surpassed that. I’m not hating on this movie at all, I’m not calling it bad, or saying that I don’t like it. What I’m saying is it’s a good movie. Is it my favorite movie? No, and I’m ok with admitting that. Was I really excited for this movie back in 2014? Sure was, I was thrilled. But as time went on it just sort of died down. The first teaser was out I was excited. Second one came out excited. Roleplayed a lot, made some edits, it was really great. Then once the movie was finally here... I was just calm, chill about seeing it. Am I upset that this happened? A little, it’s the first time it has. But I’m not sad, because I just have to tell myself it’s ok if you don’t end up liking something as much as you were thinking you would. I don’t know if I’ll continue my roleplays, but I’m really glad I made this blog. Zootopia does hold a special place in my heart because I’ve wanted a movie with anthro animals for awhile now and we finally have one and it’s really good. I hope I don’t disappoint anyone with this. But it’s just how I feel bout it all. I’ll probably still post on here and make some more gifs and maybe a video or two.
For now, all I have to say is. Try Everything, and if it doesn’t work out keep trying. Because that’s what Zootopia has taught me, and everyone should see it so they too can experience that message.
