Yes for it is the only thing that can change but not fully changed. No, for you truly didn't lose it at the first place. You've just forgotten it.
I recieved a notification on my email this morning about the status of my username in tumblr. The email stated, if I'm still "xmercedezxgp"? For if not, they will make it available for new users. Of course, my response is I immediately claim it back, well in the first place that was mine!!
It is a reminder for me that sometimes we may forget who we are and what we are supposed to be. The saddest part is that we let it be used by someone else and totally surrender it to them.
It is time to defend your name and your identity. Do not let someone else be a new user of who you are and what you are.
