I only do this because I hate you.

I watched an interview last night and the person was asked "what do you look for in a man", her answer was "I want someone who is motivated in life, someone who is looking for a career, pursuing a career, someone who is passionate in life, and someone who has an end goal" Going on in the interview this person was later asked, "where do you see yourself in the future, what are your goals, what do you want to be or who do you want to be in the end" Her answer was "I don't have any goals, I don't see myself living past tomorrow... hopefully at least. I want to die honestly." My question is, so many people want someone that is going somewhere in life. So many people want someone that is perfectly compatible to them. So many people want someone that will end up with money, end up being successful, end up being able to take care of others, but yet they can't even see past tomorrow for themselves. Why? Before you decide what you want your imaginary other to become I believe you should first decide at the least what you love, what you want, who you want to be. Even right now. Learn to be compassionate about not others but yourself, learn to love others unconditionally. Overall learn to love yourself before you want others to love you.
