     He’s brooding- waiting to be called into action for permission to leave the city and figuring out his own plot to get Akane out and begin their search and rescue mission for Yuu- but it’s becoming a bad habit. Especially when his thoughts draw out his memory of Akane and himself surrounded in blood and death the last time he thought they could escape. It makes him aware of the fangs behind his lips and makes his hand twitch toward the few vials that Krul supplied him with.

     The gentle weight on his back brings him back, blue eyes watching curiously as her arms fall in front of him. “Akane-chan, I thought you were asleep already,” he says, his tone full of reproach but also a bone deep exhaustion, “it’s so late.” A sigh follows as his head nods in rhythm with her cuddling but he doesn’t have the heart to chide her. Instead, cold fingers wrap loosely around her hand, knowing she needs the comfort of having another Hyakuya near just as he did.

     But it’s not the same at all; what she clings to is what he feels that he lost the moment Krul’s blood slid down his throat. Why couldn’t she see him as he is- when his thumb brushes along the prominent veins on the inside of her wrist to count her pulse? He ducks his head, curling his upper body closer to his knees at the sudden pang of thirst. His hand tightens briefly around her hand as he grimaces- but he stands before she could notice how the pain made him tremble. Along with the motion, he hoists her up on his back, curling her arms around his neck to keep her steady.

     Okay, I’ve been in the inuyasha fandom for a loooong time and I’m convinced Kagome could fit in any verse imaginable. I’d like to cheat and say I want you to have all of them but I’ll be nice~ Reasonably, because she’s a miko, I want to throw Frau- who is a shinigami- and Yuuko’s ghostly self at her. I’d like to see how she would handle ghostly characters that don’t want to be purified but now that I think about it, could Frau be purified if he’s a priest in his human body?

     Overlooking the Inuyasha characters we share (even if I want to revisit the childhood friend verse Inu and Kouga had huuuuu) I get a sense of wanting to throw the charas that aren’t reliant on things from their verse or that could adapt their story to fit another setting since most of your ocs seem dependent on their lore. This extends to your LoZ charas because I love them sm.

     First, can I just say that your choice in muses is just perfect? Like I know all of them just vaguely enough to be very interested in them? That being said, let me see who I can work with right off the bat:

     Asahi and Kyoutani. Ken just wants to fight the ace players in other teams and I bet that will overwhelm Asahi to hell and back but Ken’s nothing if not persistent. Eventually, I believe Asahi would be a good influence for him to learn from. Just for amusement, I wanna see him interact with Yachi too, perhaps in his third year when Karasuno and Seijou go up against each other again when he’s matured a bit. And he has a bone to pick with Noya and his receives but I need to think more on that later.

     The obvious answer would be Kouki Furihata for the KnB verse. However, I do think Mizuki wouldn’t like him past first impressions due to his personality and his tendency to get pessimistic about his own growth. Repeated interaction is still plausible if they happen to grow on each other because I do see how they can support each other- by way of Kouki preventing her from overworking herself to death and Mizuki serving as inspiration for her drive. But it really depends how well they can hit it off in the first place.
