I have this topic I want to talk about, but it is so hard to articulate the words in my head. I just want to encase a memory in the infinity that is music. 

Unfortunately, being two full time students releasing music at the quality we would like is taking a lot longer than we anticipated. In between midterms and classes there just doesn’t seem to be enough time. We apologize. We promise we have not given up, life just happens. Your patience will be rewarded as we continue to grind. Soon time. 

I’ve been stuck in this cycle of feeling better, crying over you, and killing myself slowly. You would be so angry, but I stopped listening to you a long time ago. I’ve just been searching for the right combination of sounds and words to make myself understand how to stop and I am still trying. 

Xinx is a Toronto based duo consisting of producing artist chrsty and singer/songwriter Kalon. The duo originated from Scarborough Toronto, Ontario. The two grew up on the same street, eight houses down from one another and at the age of 20 are still as close as ever. chrsty is a trained classical pianist gifted in composition with a passion for hip hop. She has always been the voice of reason when Kalon’s head falls too deep in the clouds. Kalon is a formally trained vocalist raised on early 2000s hip hop and R&B. Her love for throwback music lit a fire for hip hop she was never able to put out. Following her passion she uses poetry and writing to find the right words to tell the stories of a simple life made complicated. Through a love for music the two came together as a female force to reinvent and make their mark on the urban music world. Together the two are currently working on creating their debut EP.
