I never liked Kimiko and Raimundo as the endgame pairing. The idea of the monks being friends with unbreakable bonds was more appealing to me than any of them liking each other romantically.

When I was a kid, I thought Kimiko should have been the Dragon of Wind. I was raised to believe that men were the ones who were tough and women were supposed to be gentle. I always thought that Rai should have been “tough” fire because he’s a boy and Kimiko should have been “gentle” wind because she’s a girl. I’m older now and I know better now. Your heart is all that matters, and no power, gentle or tough, belongs to just one gender. Kimiko helped me learn that. Thanks Kimiko.

i used to roleplay in the xiaolin showdown fandom years ago when i was a teen and i was really annoying as a teenager and now i kinda get the feeling the fandom hates me? like it's probably in my head but idk i wish i could still roleplay but i suck at it
