While police initially stated that the car full of teens was driving “aggressively towards the officer” prompting the shot, Balch Springs Police Chief Jonathon Haber quickly recanted the account after viewing officer worn body camera on Monday.

“In a hurry to get the statement out, I misspoke,” said Haber at a press conference on Monday.

Police Chief realized the officers involved in the shooting lied about what happened and now is attempting to save himself and the department.

This is not going to turn out well for the cop that did the shooting.

Originally police lied and said car was driven in reverse to try and hit them. Then the police chief held a news conference and stated no, the car was going forward away from police. Some of the police had body cams which busted the original statement. The kid was shot with a rifle, some reporting it was an AR 15. The question is: Who the fuck brings an AR15 to break up a teenage party?
