Disrespectfully, some of you wouldn’t know what it means to be dominant if it hit you in the face.

Calling yourself a “dom” doesn’t automatically make you one. Dominance isn’t manipulation disguised as confidence, and it certainly isn’t an excuse to use someone for your own desires.

Being dominant with someone is a PRIVILEGE.

It means someone has trusted you with a vulnerable part of themselves. It requires communication, mutual understanding, respect, boundaries, accountability, and the ability to recognize that power is something entrusted to you. NOT something you’re entitled to.

Real dominance isn’t about how much control you can take.

It’s about how responsibly you can hold the control someone willingly gives you.

If you can’t understand the difference between power and entitlement, you don’t understand dominance. And if you think being a dom means taking without consideration for the person beneath your authority, you shouldn’t be calling yourself one.
