The gender of a police officer is cop.

When you become the enforcer and protector of capital, you are making the deal to be slightly favored by the system over others like you, in exchange for being its servant. Your solidarity is with the system that you serve, even if it hates you.

If you want solidarity with those the system hates, you cannot be the system's servant and defender.

I firmly disagree with these statements.

Though it is worth noting that I’m not in the US.

I understand stuff is very different in places like the states (I assume these posts are from there), but that is not a reflection of police everywhere.

Where I live some cops are super discriminatory, but about the same ratio as any other group. I’ve met amazing police officers, why are trans and lesbian. And I like to support that stuff.

Not all cops everywhere are terrible, just be careful of the ones who are.

Support the ones who are not.
