“We could go see if there’s any animals that need affection while we’re out,” They suggested already knowing that they were going to stop whenever they saw a dog or even a cat.

“Yes.” Kamaria kept her pace backwards as they spoke. “I think there are some local shelters. We can see if they take volunteers.”

Throwing her head back, the princess sighed loudly. She had so much to do and yet she couldn’t pass up the opportunity to take a small break. “Fine. I’ll go with you. Promise to have me back by six?”

Kamaria gave a wide grin, glad to finally have the other on board. “I think I can manage the time frame. Are you really that busy being here? Shouldn’t you be relaxing?”

“Can we at least grab some coffee before the adventure begins?” Atticus asked her curiously as they stood up with a dramatic sigh.

“Fine, I can’t argue with that.” Kam skipped ahead, turning into a backwards walk so that she could face the other. “Besides, it will be nice to get out of the stuffy castle.”

Lukas: I found him, so if you wanted to come by my room to meet him, you can.

Kam: I love him already

A laugh escaped the blonde’s lips as he followed her into the room, before he was letting out a sigh at her question. “Yeah, that’s why I haven’t really been getting close to where they are, and why the windows are open.  I’m fine around like birds and every other type of pet but cats and dogs.”

“I feel so sorry for you.” Kam is too busy loving on the dog to even notice the open window. “I can take him. Give you some space from the cause of the irritation.” She knew she was good hands to leave any animal in. “It’s the dandruff then?”

“You sure? I can try harder to hide it from you.” The blonde teased, before opening the door wider for the brunette to come in. “She’s on the bed. You can have her if you want, I really am allergic to animals unless they are aquatic or birds.”

“Cruel and unusual punishment.” Kamaria replies before she walks past him into the room. Her eyes grow wide and she immediately takes to the bed, snuggling down on the animal that lays there. “You’re allergic? That’s so sad! How do you live this life?”

Lukas: I kinda need him, he keeps me in check. However, I will let you dog sit if need be?

Kam: a dog.

“am i now?” eduardo raised a brow to the other, trying ( and failing ) to conceal the smile on his face. “well if you never bothering me again is part of the deal, then how could i ever say now?” the tone of his voice intended to be playful. “do i get any clues?”

“You are.” She crossed her arms over her chest, smile spreading over her face. A teasing gasp left her and her hand covered the place where her heart was. “I’m utterly offended, and here I thought we would have a nice day.” Her playful offense didn’t last long before she shrugged. “We have to go outside first.”

Lukas: He's honestly a sweetheart and just wants to be petted.

Kam: if Kazmer is an animal I am keeping him.

“She’s not mine,” Seojun explained, crouching down to pick up the ball and give Akari ear scritches. He was about to throw it again when the dog bounced over to the newcomer and started sniffing her. “She belongs to my brother’s fiancee, she asked me to keep her occupied while the two of them snuck out to go to the pet store in town to get some food for her.” His voice had dropped just enough in case there were any staff members around, he didn’t want them getting in trouble just yet.

“Oh!” When the dog was at her feet she couldn’t resist the pull the begin petting the little ball of fluff, crouched down to easily pet the thing. His voice dropped and Kam was stuck on listening a little better. “oh--” She silenced herself, offering a grin. “I’m sure they’ll be fine.” She couldn’t imagine that they’d get in trouble for going out--not like that anyways. “That’s very nice of you, to watch her.”

Kel: i'm Kel, btw. or Kelton, if you wanna be formal

Kel: honestly? i think my 'supervisor' put a bunch of new numbers into my phone

Kam: i'm glad

Kam: Kel, formalities are so boring

Kel: but also who are you?

Kam: Kamaria of Algeria

If they’d been younger, the news they’d be marrying a future queen would have resulted in a fit of some sort, likely them pouting about being the center of attention. They’d never much cared for it, liked that while they were important, they were still second important. It allowed them more freedom. But, as it were, they were a grown adult, and they didn’t pout anymore, thanks. Anyway, of what they’d heard about her, she didn’t seem so bad. It wasn’t much, nothing of substance, but no news was good news, right? If she’d been insufferable or rude or otherwise, they’d have heard about it. 

They felt a little bit lost, seeking her out, and were sure a quiet look of relief was evident when she waved them over. “Hello.” Ugh, was that too formal? The language thing might also prove tricky. They knew the words, but the grammar and usage, sometimes, proved confusing. “It’s nice to finally meet you. Kamaria, right?” They reminded themself to keep their usual lilt out of the pronunciation, because apparently that wasn’t how it was said. 

There wasn’t much hidden about the future Queen, her life had been an open book basically since conception and she’d never let that stop her from doing what she liked. It just so happened that the things she liked were good. She had been dedicated to wildlife preservation projects since she could talk, and had attempted to adopt every animal she could--especially ones she thought she could save. Some people acted as if she was wasting her time, but the true joy came in others who supported the causes she put out to do so much for. In fact her only hope was that she ended up married to someone who would also work to help support her endeavors.

“Kamaria.” she repeated, showing that they had said it in a proper way--though she’d grown up with her name said in many many ways. Her heart was racing, the spike of excited beating probably making her look crazy. Did she look crazy? “Hanne,” saying it out loud felt strange and suddenly she was a little more worried about a language barrier halting any hope of getting to know each other. “I’m excited to finally see you in person. The picture didn’t do you much justice.” Okay, now she had to seem crazy.
