Trauma is a really fucked up concept like it sets you back mentally and emotionally and developmentally and you spend the rest of your youth trying to overcome it and gain back that lost time but it’s damn near impossible to do that because the world doesn’t stop moving for you to catch up and you always feel like you’re just a few steps behind of where you could have been and good god it’s exhausting
