(Disclaimer, i do ship erasermic and I love it very much so I am in no way coming after that ship)

I have noticed a neiche of erasermic shippers that try and debate who is the "responsible" one in their hypothetical relationship (let's be real here guys, it's not cannon.)

Most people argue that its Aizawa, due to his more serious nature compared to Mics more SEEMINGLY carefree attitudes and humorous demeanour.

On the other hand some people argue its Mic, due to how Mic has 3 job roles (Teacher, radio host and pro hero, and I guess it could be 4 if you count the school announcer) compared to how Aizawa gets extremely tiered by again, SEEMINNGGLLYY doing less.

I disagree with both. Why can't people see that BOTH characters are HIGHLY RESPONSIBLE 30 YEAR OLD ADULTS WITH TOUGH AND DEMANDING JOBS? BOTH are capable pro hero's AND teachers. Mic CHOOSES to do the other roles as they are his passions and Aizawa is often seen going above and beyond as his role as a homeroom teacher (p.s it was revealed on Aizawas teacher report that despite the fact he may appear sleepy, hes NEVER been late to school!!). They are their own individuals! Capable of providing for themselves! I hate this shipping stereotype of one person needing to be more reliant on the other or needing to be provided for, being dependent on someone does not mean your compatable! It could lead to toxic or even abusive relationships!

I think the healthiest ships are usually the ones where both sides have their own separate lives, and especially in a ship like erasermic this is even more important. They need their own spaces and time apart, lots of other real relationships require this too!
